Hi Ian... We don't play in GD for chips... We do play for friendship... I was mad at the quiz because u haven't told anyone that not to search in google for the answers... So some of the players searched and mailed it to you... And u wrote that they cheated on you and u called them as cheaters... If you had told about the sensitivy about google no one would do that u do know it... I just wanted to say that you should say sorry to the players because u called people as cheaters... Your friends were laughing at us and they were the guys who say hi before to us there... You made some players cry coz you were emphasizing your point that they cheated... Does anyone deserve to cry because of your words... They are not cheaters because all the other quizzes, we used google normally, and some quizzes we didn’t use it... The fault that u did was I think, you NEVER told us ahead that we shouldn’t use google for the answers...
We appreciated your effort of doing the quizzes, we used to praise your efforts... We were not aware of your rules fully coz we are new in joining your game... We treated you and your partner with respect... We long every week to see our friends there... And we decided to just refrain from joining your games...
We thank you for the fun memories we had... We are sorry if we hurt you...

I for one, hope you reconsider and do the quizes again. It was always great fun .. so many quizes I would hope 1 bad one would not erase all the fun ones. We could forget fridays quiz and start fresh again. If you do change your mind .. many of us would surely be happy.
Anyway , whatever you decide , thanks for your time and some fun quizes.

I will not urge you to come back or not, it is your choice and you will decide what to do.
I agree that this one quiz was specific and google shouldn't be used, but when it comes to another quizes I bet a lot of players used google, although they will not admit it. But everything was fine and we all accepted it, didn't we? Everyone wants to have some points so everyone (or almost everyone) try to find the answers when they don't know them. I admit that I have used google - not everytime but from time to time. English is not my native language so most of the questions I simply do not understand (the only person who knows how hard it is, is poor Trudy, who has to read on msn my whining about how my English sucks lol), so guess what chances would I have without google and dictionary. Players used google, and you, as you said, also used it to copy questions from tirivia's sites, so in my opinion the fault is on both sides.
Anyway... it was fun and thanks for that.

if they cheat let them..... they know they won in a bad way, leat you still make your're friendson here and they remain friends... they guys who cheat are cheats and they always will be, the're not the ones who make the friends, they will make enemies.... in my eyes you and sammie are highly liked doig these quizez and i know you too will not want to uspet any one so get ya bum back in and do the quizez:D
you and sammie are always good friends to me and i'm sure to alot of people, don't throw that away... tell the cheats to get stuffed mate and i wanna see you here soon :D

Dont let one bad evening sour many many great ones........OK lets accept the quiz night are no more......but as far as memories go, we have had many many real fun evenings attending your excellently put together quizzes!!
Dont look back in anger ( theres a song there somewhere!) remember your Happy Birthday (wow Stevie Wonder now!).
Lets be honest....in every quiz if the correct answer hadnt appeared within the first few seconds.....the fastest person on wiki/google/whatever to locate the answer was the person that got the point.....that was also from a contestants point of view part of the fun!
What went wrong with the last quiz wasnt your fault for not telling people not to use a search engine as mentioned above.....what went wrong was trusting all us vagabonds with plenty of time to look for the photos!!
Ill be totally honest.....i got my wife to sit with me (shes good with faces) and we went through all the photos.....she probably got about 50 % (swore a few times at ones she thought she knew but couldnt get the name lol). At that point I was directed towards the page that all the photos were on.....but my comp froze and i had to totally log off twice before i could get back to the quiz page....you will remember my "on the deadline" entry....i was typing like a looney just trying to get something to you.....hence....i couldnt remember what id seen (its my age)....so i also put my hands up to maybe 5 answers that i found!!
In hindsight....to find the page that you used to set the quiz up totally disrespects all the time and effort you both put into all the quizzes....but that one in particular must have taken ages......so from and on behalf of all your ardent quiz fans.................Thank You for all the time and effort over the passed months......Total respect for your decision to call it a day........Love to you both!!
