These thoughts that swirl around in my brain of the faceless man who a future comes with.
He invades my dreams regularly and stands with me gentle and strong.
Along came a dream this dream that clouds my waking hours like a thought or name on the tip of my tongue.
The man who in reality probably doesn’t exist but in wishful thinking.

I wonder if it’s the same for him if he exists in this lifetime.
Or is he some future lifetime and we are only destined for when time travel becomes a reality.
Do such things actually happen outside of crappy romance novels.
Life can be so strange, the future uncertain in these times of change.

And so I fold some more laundry, staring blankly into space wondering if he’s wondering too.
Is this what a soulmate is I wonder….
If I googled the question what answer would it give?
A dry explanation that explains nothing really and only leaves more questions?

Oh well to sleep and yet to dream again.
